Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and modify electronic and range equipment. Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action. Diagnose and troubleshoot any problems that are associated with the system and work with network administrators, and senior level technologists to resolve all issues. Work under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. Responsible for analyzing equipment failures, troubleshooting electronic and range systems faults, along with performing other duties as assigned.
Operations facility superintendent for RED FLAG-Alaska (RF-A) exercises and all other aviation deployments to Elmendorf AFB. Supervised RF-A augmentation and deployed personnel. Maintained support resources used in operational planning, execution, and mission feedback. Performed as Quality Assurance Evaluator for the Pacific Alaska Range Complex Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract. Developed, organized, administered, evaluated, and coordinated a comprehensive quality assurance program to ensure the contractor’s performance meets requirements established by the $40 million contract. Assisted in contract formation, negotiation, and execution for one of the largest range O&M contracts supporting the Air Force’s largest training complex.
Provided management advice and assistance to the 272 Combat Communications Squadron, Oregon Air National Guard (ANG), consisting of 135 personnel and assets of over $20 million. Assisted in sustaining operational readiness in compliance with ANG and Air Force standards. Performed liaison duties between ANG and active duty Air Force personnel related to training programs required to meet the mission need. Observed and provided the Unit Commander with feedback on all operational and support functions. Conducted training in technical specialties and other areas as required.
