Other responsibilities include:• Installed Microsoft Windows 10, configured DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and user account management.• Configured Cisco Routers and Switches with trunks, multiple VLAN configurations with sub-interfaces, configured console and VTY lines ,SSH and TELNET configuration for remote user access, configured DHCP, NAT, setup and configured ACL’s in firewalls for routers .• Backup and restore of router/switch and IOS image configurations to TFTP.• Working knowledge of routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, IGRP and TFTP.• Protect military computers and network packet transportation through firewall configuration, ACL, PAT and NAT.• Serve as information system security administrator by advising and developing strategies for software standardization, compatibility and implementation while maintaining system integrity.• Develops documentation and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for military security office systems workgroup.• Conducts open security testing standards and projects according to NIST.• System monitoring and auditing of security using event logs and web logs, IDS/IPS and cryptograp Provided technical support for staff, faculty, and students• Performed user account password resets for staff, faculty, and students• Managed user accounts in Active Directory to include account creation, account deletion, and enabling and disabling of accounts• Performed imaging and software installations• Provided additional instruction as needed to ensure student understanding of the material Show less
