As R&D Director for MHC Maine, I direct a team of professionals who work with the development of new materials and process design projects. Our primary objectives are to develop new and/or improved foam materials and processes with innovative and novel properties / performance that will contribute to the corporate strategy directives. The team also provides essential support to our local manufacturing operations to help ensure continuous improvement in materials and processes.

During my 17 year tenure at Crowe Rope, I held various postions through the years including warehouse manager, corporate planner, Operations Manager and Distribution Center VP. This extensive manufacturing experience in multiple areas provided a wide range of knowledge and experiences that has proven to be invaluable in my work ethics and way of working. Crowe Rope at one time had multiple manufacturing sites throughout the state and all planning and logistics were carried out by my role as Corporate Planner. In the 1990's, the company consolidated most operations into a new 100,000 square foot facility, including a new distribution center. As VP of Planning and Distribution, it was our teams project to plan and help perform the move of the operations into the facility while minimizing any down time or loss of OLA. This was accomplished very efficiently and successfully.

Worked on the F-15 fighter jet communications, navigations and electronic counter measure systems. Also cross trained as a flight line crew chief during my tenure in the military. Attended several "war games" as part of the crew to help prepare readiness of our military.
