Technical Consultant Powerplants
CurrentWorking as an engine technical consultant for Carlyle Aviation Partners on behalf of Aerofields Services LLC, assist and review engineering data specifically in relation to engines/APU’s pre and post engine shop visit to meet compliance and contractual requirements.Assist and review of engine Life Limited Parts (LLP) back to birth trace data, engine workscopes, engine shop visits and to provide technical research regarding Airworthiness Directives (AD’s) and Service Bulletins (SB’s) to meet compliance and contractual engine builds, end of lease and sale of engine requirements on associated engines types in the Carlyle Aviation Partners fleet, GE CF6-80C2, CF6-80E1, CFM56 -3, -5 & -7B series, PW2500, PW4000 and Rolls Royce RB211-Trent, IAE V2500 type as well as various APU’s configurations.Monitor and update the Apollo Aviation Group data base (AMES) regarding the maintenance of the engine builds and engine shop visits data. Assist in the upload and cleanup of engine data into the current records system (FlyDocs) and (ShareFile) as well as their previous system (AerData - STREAM).
