Worked the fall Turnaround at Syngenta in Baton Rouge Louisiana as a contract API 510/570 Inspector. Performed Internals and Externals on Fixed Equipment and Piping.

Supervised inspectors and performed Internal and External inspections on Vessels, Drums and Exchangers. Duties included performing Inspections, updating the daily schedule and directed inspectors and technicians on inspections needing to be completed. After discovery work was completed, wrote repair plans and managed all repair paperwork. Made sure all repairs were completed per DOW Specifications.

Wrote Pre and Post assessments for all piping and equipment in my assigned unit. Reviewed inspection reports turned in by field inspectors, performed field audits on inspections performed by field inspectors. Key part of the assessment team in deciding which repairs were required by code. After inspection assessments were completed wrote repair plans to address all welding jobs that were required. Reviewed all paperwork in a QA role for all repairs.

Input and Maintained all PCE and Piping into the Risk Base Inspection program Orbit Onshore. Coordinated all drafting jobs and maintain updated P&ID’s. For DOW Chemical Taft Louisiana
