Provided Quality Assurance services for the development of a robust web application for the management of various grants and contributions programs delivered across Canada within an Agile environment. The Surface Infrastructure System provided extensive program and project management along with an extensive financial component for the management of project contracts and claims. Project Description:The Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS) system is a large Microsoft VB.NET n-tier web enabled application (transactional, multi-tier and multi-application) developed using Microsoft .NET Framework for the issuance of the SCIS card to registered individual. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, I provided manual testing of multi-user Oracle and Microsoft VB.NET web application, which included the planning, organizing, and scheduling of testing efforts. I worked in a multi-disciplinary IT project team, managed by a project manager directing more than 4 technical resources (Project Leaders, Developers, Testers, Technical Writers and Business Analysts) working with the users (AANDC employees) according to the project deadlines and milestones. After going through multiple stages of a formal (RUP) System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), this complex endeavor produced multiple deliverables and resulted in multiple upgrades and enhancements of the SCIS system deployed at AANDC.Managed and participated in the development of test plans, test scenarios, testing manuals and guides and coordinated stakeholder walkthrough of the test coverage, testing manual and guides with the development team for the unit and system integration testing; and with the application users for User acceptance testing and implementation of releases into production;Performed and completed system testing to evaluate the complete system’s compliance against specified requirements from an end-to-end perspective;Detected, reported and tracked application defects and CR’s using TestTrack Pro (TTPRO) software;Developed test scripts and test cases for system testing, integration testing, functional, regression, performance, stress and load testing using system use cases;Performed and completed functional and regression testing for all application users roles and users access.

As a Senior Tester, I provided manual testing of multi-user Oracle and Microsoft VB.NET Web based application, which included the planning, organizing, and scheduling of testing efforts. I have worked in a multi-disciplinary IT project team, managed by a project manager directing more than 20 technical resources (Project Leaders, Developers, Testers, Technical Writers and Business Analysts) working with the users (Bell employees) according to the project deadlines and milestones.
