Advise commanders in the conduct of informal equal opportunity complaints, conduct unit level equal opportunity training, assist the commander in climate assessment, assist in the preparation of special ethnic observances, train leaders on diversity management, and serve as the primary resource manager of equal opportunity matters within the unit.

Responsible for verification of all enlistment contracts for the Maryland Army National Guard,reserve training seats for qualified applicants, quality control of all documentation required for enlistment, provide support to over 100 Recruiters from Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.Ensure completion and accuracy of all security clearance applications. Counsel each newly enlisted Soldier about the benefits, requirements and expectations of the Army.

Recruit qualified applicants for enlistment in the Army National Guard. Interview, counsel and provide guidance for potential Soldiers. Prepare enlistment packets, provide job options, ensure submission of security clearance packets. Mentor and provide ongoing training for all enlisted Soldiers.
