Specific duties include the following:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Customer Service: • Contact customers by phone, text, email, or MyTESS (the state automated contact system) regarding submitted documents, completion of required monthly hours and follow-up calls as needed.• Completes follow-up calls for employment verifications and other assigned activities.• Reviews submitted activity forms for completeness and evaluates sufficiency as they relate to an individual being job ready.Case Management:• Creates, maintains and updates customer case files as well as computer program (OSST) files in accordance with audit standards.• Reports non-compliance of programs which can lead to termination of benefits and reinstates benefits as necessary.• Creates and uses the Individual Responsibility Plan (IRP) to lead customers in the appropriate direction for self-sufficiency.• Enters customer job placement or accountable activity information into data system.• Creates support services authorization requests to authorize payment for transportation allowance.• Assigns customers to activities based on need and Federal/State regulations.Communication: • Reads emails or texts and listens to voice mails to determine customer priorities and needs which have arisen since the previous work day. • Records and monitors customer interaction, contact and customer compliance and participation in programs on a daily basis by data entering into the OSST, and FLORIDA notes.

They serve as technical advisors concerning uses, capabilities,limitations, and reliability of aviation ordnance, handling equipment and aircraft armament;supervise and direct the arming/dearming of aircraft and the requisitioning, stowing,handling, testing, disassembly, assembly, installation, operation, maintenance, and repairof aviation ordnance, handling equipment and aircraft armament; supervise and direct thestowage, testing, and installation of aircraft missiles; and interpret, publicize, and ensurecompliance with regulations and safety precautions governing the handling and stowing ofaircraft ammunition, aircraft missiles, pyrotechnics, and explosives.They may serve as, but are not limited only to serving as, squadron armament officers, airgunners, AIMD armament division officers, magazine officers, or in various operational andstaff billets. AOs perform authorized maintenance on airborne weapons, aircraft guns, and targets. They receive, inspect, inventory, configure, test, and maintain Armament Weapons Support Equipment (AWSE), Ordnance Handling Equipment (OHE), and materials handling equipment. Aviation Ordnancemen test and maintain aircraft armament release and control systems, and inspect and maintain conventional ordnance magazines and Ready Service Lockers (RSL). They maintain and operate magazine sprinkler systems, and they maintain and operate the aircraft carrier weapons elevators.AOs perform preventative maintenance and inventory small arms weapons. They manage accounting systems, rework of airborne weapons/systems/equipment, and conventional weapons qualification/certification programs, afloat and ashore.
