Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program (DVOP) specialists develop job and training opportunities for Veterans, with special emphasis on Veterans with service-connected disabilities. DVOP specialists provide direct services to Veterans enabling them to be competitive in the labor market. They provide outreach and offer assistance to disabled and other Veterans by promoting community and employer support for employment and training opportunities, including apprenticeship and on-the-job training. Performs related work as required.Develops job and job training opportunities for disabledveterans through contacts with employers, especially smalland medium-size private sector employers. Promotes and develops apprenticeship and other on-the-job training positions. Carries out outreach activities to locate disabled veteransthrough contacts with local veterans organizations,Veterans' Administration, the state employment serviceagency and local employment service offices and community basedorganizations. Provides appropriate assistance to community-basedorganizations and other organizations and appropriategrantees under other federal and federally-funded employmentand training programs in providing services to veterans.Provides assistance to local employment service officeemployees with responsibility for veterans services.Consults and coordinates with other appropriate representativesof federal, state and local programs for the purpose ofdeveloping maximum linkages to promote employmentopportunities for and provide maximum employment assistance to veterans.

General Description:Works under general direction of Center Director; views and processes a broad range of documents and enters information into computer-based system with very time-sensitive Federal, State and Agency deadlines. This is a position or duty designated as a position of special trust. Specific duties include the following:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Customer Service: • Contact customers by phone, text, email, or MyTESS (the state automated contact system) regarding submitted documents, completion of required monthly hours and follow-up calls as needed.• Completes follow-up calls for employment verifications and other assigned activities.• Reviews submitted activity forms for completeness and evaluates sufficiency as they relate to an individual being job ready.Case Management:• Creates, maintains and updates customer case files as well as computer program (OSST) files in accordance with audit standards.• Reports non-compliance of programs which can lead to termination of benefits and reinstates benefits as necessary.• Creates and uses the Individual Responsibility Plan (IRP) to lead customers in the appropriate direction for self-sufficiency.• Enters customer job placement or accountable activity information into data system.• Creates support services authorization requests to authorize payment for transportation allowance.• Assigns customers to activities based on need and Federal/State regulations.Communication: • Reads emails or texts and listens to voice mails to determine customer priorities and needs which have arisen since the previous work day. • Records and monitors customer interaction, contact and customer compliance and participation in programs on a daily basis by data entering into the OSST, and FLORIDA notes.

Chief warrant officers (Aviation Ordnance Technician) are officer technical specialists in thefield of aviation ordnance. They serve as technical advisors concerning uses, capabilities,limitations, and reliability of aviation ordnance, handling equipment and aircraft armament;supervise and direct the arming/dearming of aircraft and the requisitioning, stowing,handling, testing, disassembly, assembly, installation, operation, maintenance, and repairof aviation ordnance, handling equipment and aircraft armament; supervise and direct thestowage, testing, and installation of aircraft missiles; and interpret, publicize, and ensurecompliance with regulations and safety precautions governing the handling and stowing ofaircraft ammunition, aircraft missiles, pyrotechnics, and explosives.They may serve as, but are not limited only to serving as, squadron armament officers, airgunners, AIMD armament division officers, magazine officers, or in various operational andstaff billets. AOs perform authorized maintenance on airborne weapons, aircraft guns, and targets. They receive, inspect, inventory, configure, test, and maintain Armament Weapons Support Equipment (AWSE), Ordnance Handling Equipment (OHE), and materials handling equipment. Aviation Ordnancemen test and maintain aircraft armament release and control systems, and inspect and maintain conventional ordnance magazines and Ready Service Lockers (RSL). They maintain and operate magazine sprinkler systems, and they maintain and operate the aircraft carrier weapons elevators.AOs perform preventative maintenance and inventory small arms weapons. They manage accounting systems, rework of airborne weapons/systems/equipment, and conventional weapons qualification/certification programs, afloat and ashore.
