First and only Business/CTE teacher in the Sterling Health Science Academy since district implementation.• Created and implemented a modified flip classroom utilizing blended teaching, compacting units according to students needs and abilities, time constraints and systematic electronic evaluations from multiple software platforms. o Impact: The model has been implemented in each of the 3 high schools and of students attaining Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications in multiple platforms, 35 in the first year of implementation to over 400 in the classroom last year. o Impact: I have since taken the entire project to my Department since becoming Department Chair two years ago to drive instruction. The official corporate testing was administered in 2 Microsoft testing centers on campus I requested and designed. Current student Microsoft Certifications currently exceeds 400.o Impact: Domain IV-Post Secondary Readiness Accountability Rating as reported by TEA for Sterling High School increased immensely in the area of Students earning and Industry Certification. Carried out corporate objectives during Corporate Conversions and Foldouts Created and modified existing SYSCO training modules for training classes. This curriculum utilized a variety of training methods using Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, written manuals containing trigger words, schematics, and models, cheat-sheets, learning guides, written, oral and hands on evaluations, and requiring and assisting trainees to present a section of the learning module.Trained the Customer Service Department in the area of Order Processing using the AS400. (SYSCO Uniform System) curricula included navigation, general order entry, screens functionality and problem solving.Trained Program Account Representatives on the creation and maintenance of Restriction Charts. including a step-by-step animated Power Point to systematically explain how these charts restrict customers from buying certain items and redirecting them to a substitute resulting in higher customer satisfaction. These presentations became the impetus for future CENTRA training.CENTRA instructor.
