Experiences: I have knowledge and experience in various fields of IT communication. I have experience at installing, maintaining, and repairing multiple transmission media products including HF, VHF, UHF and SHF Radios, IP Bases Radios, Tactical Satellite Terminals, 802.11x Systems, Fiber Optics Connections, and Copper Wire Connections. I have experience with programming and repairing TDM and FDM Multiplexers, Bandwidth Managers, PBX’s (IGX, SMU/SPU, SL-100), Repeaters/Line Drivers, and Cryptographic Devices. I am familiar with and have programs Various brand name ATM switches, Multi-layer Cisco switches/routers, Cisco’s Pix Firewall, Cisco’s IDS Box, Cisco’s Call Manager, Cisco IP Phones, .Net’s Shout, and Juniper Products. I also have limited Microsoft Sever and Desktop Support Experience.Goals: I want to be a well rounded technician. My ultimate goal is to become a member of a very small team that conducts System Administration, Network Administration, and Transmission Media Services. I want to be skilled enough to work in a shop where 3 or 4 guys do all the work (which you would normally see 20 contractors doing at military sites). I don’t see a need for 20 people in a shop if you have skilled enough workers and a site isn’t super large. To reach my goals, I have been taking extra college classes, getting more certifications, and working in each individual section to strengthen my weaknesses in each area. By doing so, I am also getting more hands on experience with different systems.Specialties: Network+ Certified, Ericsson ATM Certified, CWNA Certified, CCNA Certified, Microsoft MCTS (Vista) and MCITP (Vista Consumer and Enterprise Support) Certified
