Acting as Business Analyst in projekt Varubrev retur which purpose is to introduce a new service for PostNords customer. The work included gathering business requirements and document them in process use cases. Work methodolgy was mostly performed in workshops with several key business stakeholders, Product owners from MTU (Marknad tjänsteutveckling), retail and sale.

Fredrik was responsible for a pre-study with the goal of assessing alternatives for replacing an old optimization tool that was used in the steel blending production process. The work included analysis of current processes and technical solutions as well as a thorough market analysis and evaluation of available and suitable software solutions. The pre-study resulted in a report that proposed the software to choose, together with a proposed project plan including time and cost estimations.

The goal was to create and deliver quotations for two different projects to Posten. Fredrik led and coordinated the bid related activities, which included requirement investigation, risk analysis and the creation of a proposed project plan with resource, time and cost estimations. In his role as Bid Manager, Fredrik was also involved the client negotiations.

PSM (Produktion Struktur Meddelande) was a change management program led by Posten with the goal of increasing efficiency in the production and supply chain processes. The purchase of new sorting machines and building of new terminals had a direct impact on the IT landscape. The goal of Fredrik’s project was to assess and document the IT requirements and propose an implementation plan, including cost and time estimations. The assessment resulted in a proposed quotation to Posten

The goal of the project was to deliver a Web based support system (Direct Link WEB) for Posten’s central administration of their Global Direct Link Companies. The technology was based on Share Point, Web Services and SAP Business One. Fredrik led a project team of 14 resources, located both offshore and on-site, which required extensive people coordination. He was responsible for the budget, project planning and the quality delivered by the team. A key factor in the project success was Fredrik’s ability to foster a close cooperation between the team and the client stakeholders.

The aim of the project was to assess and document on-going projects that were being overtaken by Logica as a result of the outsourcing contract between Logica and Posten IT. Fredrik assessed on-going projects through interviews with different stakeholders. The assessment work also included risk- and financial analysis for each project. Fredrik documented the findings in a report that was delivered to Logica’s management team.

Trollhättan

The goal of the project was to analyse and document how the Saab Automobile and General Motor disunion affected Saabs Order Management, Production Planning and Invoicing processes including the effects on the application landscape. Fredrik led a team of six Business Analysts during the study and he was responsible for all commercial contacts with the client. Fredrik and his team facilitated workshops and used the SCOR process methodology to identify and assess the supply chain processes and systems involved. The project resulted in a Software Requirement Specification document that Saab later used in a quotation process to search for a suitable ERP system on the market.

Södetrtälje

The main objective was to consolidate several minor PLM tools into two standard commercial applications, Catia V5 and Enovia V5. Fredrik led the international development team, a group of ten developers, during the project implementation phase. The complexity and size of the project (300 MSEK budget) made it difficult to keep up with the number of required deployments. During the project, Fredrik automated the release and deployment process and also standardized the project UML and use case documentation. Fredrik successfully managed to significantly increase the team delivery capacity and increase customer satisfaction. The effort resulted in higher delivery capabilities in every release, higher quality of the deliverables and to a lower cost.

Fredrik was responsible for the technical feasibility study of the new Enovia system during a proof-of-concept implementation. He investigated integrations possibilities with surrounding systems such as mainframe systems and decided the technical solutions. The work included C++ programming, SOA based integration and work with Web sphere MQ platform. The work also included requirement analysis, such as use cases and UML creation, together with business stakeholders.

As Project Manager, Fredrik was responsible for planning and delivering several pre-studies within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) area and Catia V5 application tool. The studies ranged from high-level business and process analysis down to proof of concept implementations. He was responsible for the budget, resource planning and coordination several Business- and System Analysts involved in the project.

The goal of the study was to investigate how the current Individual Chassis Drawings (ICD) process, based on Catia V4 application platform, was affected by a newly purchased CAD platform. In his role as Business Analyst, Fredrik was responsible for analysing and evaluating the important ICD process and document the findings. The documentation was used as input for future implementations.

The aim of the project was to build an application tool in order to reduce manual and time consuming configuration work in the maintenance organization. Fredrik was responsible for requirements gathering, process analysis, technical design and implementation for the entire solution, including integrations towards several systems

The goal of the project was to build an aftermarket tool to support maintenance and service oriented work for JAS 39 Gripen airplanes. Fredrik acted as lead Java client programmer and Oracle PL/SQL programmer
