Fred enjoyed an illustrious 8 year career with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts as Corporate Director of Finance. Fred was part of the start up management team of the Company’s Branded Residential Properties division (which included all forms of Shared Ownership including Timeshare and Fractional Ownership).Fred played a large part in the overall strategic planning and management of the division. His responsibilities included developing and managing relationships with the Company's strategic partners. Fred sourced and managed over $250m in construction and receivable financing's. He also took the lead in managing many of the Residence Club’s legal process’s including multi-state Department of Real Estate sales registrations and entitlement work.Fred also managed the entire accounting and finance function including developing and managing project cash flows, multi-entity financial statements (Partnership and project level), and the budgeting process (project, HOA, sales & marketing, and construction).

Fred was Corporate Controller for The Naiman Company/Sporting Clubs of America, a national commercial real estate and health club development and management company. Fred’s responsibilities included all finance and accounting related activities:- Direct reports include Controllers at 12 locations.- Financial statement and tax preparation for over 80 entities.- Cash flow modeling- Budgeting process oversightThe Naiman Company’s projects included over 3 million square feet of real estate owned and managed:• The Naiman Tech Center–a 700,000 sq. ft R & D commercial office park with a restaurant and Japanese gardens.• The Sporting Clubs of America – 10 mega health clubs (in excess of 100,000 sq. ft each), located throughout North America.• The Aventine, La Jolla CA – including an 11 acre mixed use development including a 419 room Hyatt Regency, class “A” office space, and a 33,000 sq. ft athletic and spa facility.

Mr. Schuster began his career in 1984 with Kenneth Leventhal & Company, CPA’s. KLCO then merged with Ernst & Young.Fred, as Senior Accountant, provided auditing, consulting and tax services for many well known and established real estate clients. Responsibilities included:- Auditing and tax work- Consulting engagements- Budgeting and planning- Team management and leadershipHe earned his CPA with the State of California in 1986.
