I manage the finalist process for the company in which we compete with other firms to provide retirement plan services for large groups in healthcare, government, higher education, elementary/secondary education and not-for-profit. When a prospective client narrows its selection process to a few possible providers, it invites us to make a "finalist" presentation. This is an opportunity to address all client interests and offer our best case for selection. I manage that process, assembling the team, building strategy, compiling presentation materials and delivering these materials to the team at point-of-presentation.

Re-organized editorial function of company's marketing communications group. Managed department of professional writers who produced material for the company's marketing channels.

I provided graphic design and creative writing services to a group of clients whose industries included healthcare, high technology, energy, transportation, engineering and communication among others

I was brought in to build the marketing communications function from scratch for this hardware/software support company. Solid had embarked on a new business--to build high-end data centers for Fortune 500 companies. My efforts were to build an organization that supported company aims with public releations and marketing.

I managed a department of writers and graphic designers who produced content for METRO's marketing and customer communications materials. I also managed the operation that revised and provided schedule information to METRO passengers.

I started the investor relations communications and internal publications function for Anadarko shortly after it was spun off in a 1-for-1 stock split by Panhandle Eastern Corporation. Our essential mission was to build a working relationship with key Wall Street analysts, helping them understand the behaviors of the natural gas industry. We won regional and national recognition for the quality of our materials.

I wrote articles and provided photography for this energy holding company's investor relations magazines and its employee communications. I traveled a great deal in the process of collecting information and photos for these materials.

Performed reportorial and writing duties for this Saudi Arabian owned company that provided business information about the United States to Saudi companies.
