In 2019, I founded Cascading Styles to offer personalised digital design and web development services to artists and small businesses. Having worked with startups and small businesses throughout my education and early career, I know it can be difficult to create a cohesive visual identity with limited resources—everyone ends up looking the same using the same themes, fonts and stock imagery. Learn with OJO is a young brand that designs fun and educational board games for small children and families.After just over a year, I was promoted to Marketing Manager as this more accurately described my role. By this point, my work was focussed around getting to know our customers, generating leads and helping them find our products. I also managed our small team of graphic designers and freelancers, and was responsible for liaising with third-party experts and cross-collaborators. And of course, as we were a small company, I was always available to support any team member with any task from running children's workshops and organising video shoots, to packing customer orders and shifting stock!

However, it soon became clear that I was able to support with a much wider range of tasks and learn new skills as required, especially with the technicalities of digital marketing.

Olive's Choice Creative is a cross-cultural PR company that connects European and Chinese brands.I was brought on board to refresh the brand identity, rebuild the website with both English and Chinese versions, launch their newsletter and update their social media accounts. The main challenge with this project was working with the Chinese language—selecting fonts that complement each other and display consistently, laying out copy that I can't read, and optimising for the Chinese seach engine Baidu.

New Taipei City, Taiwan

Next Animation Studio is a Taiwan-based subsidiary of Next Media that creates humorous animated coverage of recent news stories and sporting events and releases them through TomoNews.I interned with their animation team for a couple of months while I worked on a project to redesign their brand website and bring it more up to date with current design trends. I met with the web developers several times throughout the project to exchange ideas and feedback, and presented my finished designs to key stakeholders including the CEO.

I designed artwork and logos for various charitable events and organisations. I also laid out a 500 page book for the 5th anniversary of the LagosPhoto Festival.
