The aim was to investigate and characterize DAT missense mutation in novel mouse model by performing in vivo behavioral studies, confocal fluorescence microscopy analysis and functional studies on transporter proteins (synaptosomal uptake, cell transfection and uptake assays in cell cultures)Supervision by Prof. Ulrik Gether at Molecular Neuropharmacology and Genetics Laboratory (Gether Lab), Dept of Neuroscience, UCPH. Daily supervision by Dr. Freja Herborg.
