Manage stormwater coordination across 57 member communities in the Northeast Ohio watersheds including the Cuyahoga River, Rocky River, and Chagrin River. Develop and organize community outreach and coordination strategy around Regional Stormwater Management Program construction projects and stormwater master planning. Assist member communities with the implementation of local sewer system evaluation studies through the District's Member Community Infrastructure Program Grant and other funding sources.

Coordinator for 15 member communities for the Sewer District's programs, projects, and studies, primarily in the Cuyahoga and Rocky River Watersheds. Review and implement deliverables for Regional Stormwater Master Planning and local sewer studies. Evaluate applications for grant programs and assist with community-driven projects. Lead community and property owner communication for District projects and review design plans.

Conduct environmental assessments by analyzing biological, habitat and water chemistry data. Use sampling techniques to gather data on fish and macroinvertebrates in local stream systems. Assist with GIS mapping within my group and serve as an interface for the GIS department. Respond to chemical spills and odor complaints. Detect and work to eliminate illicit discharges within the service area of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. Function as a part of both the Southwest Emergency Response Team and the Chagrin/Southeast Emergency Response Team, which requires being trained in hazmat practices and the incident command system.

Completed training to enumerate for the 2020 Census. Served in Detroit-Shoreway and in the E.55th/St. Clair neighborhoods. Assisted residents with filing their census survey, by taking down all the information into a mobile app. Census field operations were cut short due to COVID-19 and then due to President Trump's administrative order. Overall, this experience brought me closer to my community and more knowledgeable of the disparities and demographics within it.

The Climate Ambassador program was part of the Climate Resiliency and Urban Opportunity Initiative, funded through a Kresge Foundation Grant. The program selected four representatives from four communities in Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway, Central-Kinsman, Slavic Village and Glenville. We worked with our local representatives on small climate related projects, and we met with the larger group to connect across communities for efforts like the Cleveland Climate Action Plan.
