Much more importantly, built the leadership team who then tripled it all again after I left. Even prouder of what they did without me, than what we did together.

Ridiculously, Sir Alec created a team of 25 fresh grads to scope, manage the build, and roll-out the tech nationally in 9 months. Madness, but it worked, best job of all time.2. Contract recruiter in Bristol. Accidentally quite good at it. Too much time in the Slug & Lettuce on Wine Street but we were the #2 office nationally by the end so it worked, what a team.3. Business Dev Manager for Reed's training business, a role I created when I said it was a bit weird they didn't have one. My boss quit after 2 months to launch one of Reed's many job board .coms back then (they were the future apparently), so Sir Alec gave me his job and I left the scheme a year early readily accepting the extra money on offer. Again, no idea what he was thinking to be honest but it all worked out!
