Tour Leader
As a Tour Leader for a small group adventure tour company based in Las Vegas, I specialized in single, multi-day and private custom tours of the National Parks in the Southwest USA. These parks included Death Valley, Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Antelope Canyon, and Bryce Canyon. I guided groups of 4-14 people in 15 passenger vans, often towing a 5x8' cargo trailer. My responsibilities included food shopping and cooking, planning and problem-solving on the road, maintaining outdoor equipment, setting up camp, accounting and paperwork, pre-and post-tour and ensuring a safe experience for every customer.Guests were often camping for the first-time, typically experiencing our National Parks for the first-time, adjusting to altitude or the desert climate all while thrust together in a new and unfamiliar group dynamic. For this job you have to be 'on' for days at a time, have incredible driving stamina and genuinely like people. To weave stories about history, geology and geography you have to be invested in how each element of history influences us in the present. And, you have to communicate all of that in entertaining stories you create and tell on the road. This job was certainly challenging but I always enjoyed being on tour. People are unique and eccentric, curious and crazy and I loved being a part of it. You should have strong leadership and motivational skills, have a passion for the outdoors, be able to multitask and possess exceptional people skills.
Concierge Manager
Working in Glacier National Park was a fantastic way to spend the summer, explore a new side of hospitality and maximize my free time outdoors! Of course, it wasn't all a walk in the park. As Concierge Manager at Lake McDonald Lodge, I managed 65+ Red Bus Driver tour guides through 2023 Summer Season. On a daily basis, I created manifests, distributed dispatches, monitored maintenance needs, and organized 20+ daily bus tours serving 800+ daily customers throughout the park. The sheer volume of guests entering the lodge and experiencing the Red Bus Tours is remarkable!I also oversaw a fantastic Concierge staff that performed many duties listed above as well as offering expert park information, handling customer complaints, and providing tour support to all Red Bus Tour and Glacier Park customers. To make sure things ran as smoothly as possible, I'd coordinate with other departments with the goal of meeting everyone's transportation needs and schedules.I was lucky to be part of GNP, even for a short time and enjoyed my experience in this seasonal role!

Marketing Director
When you work for a small business, you wear many hats. While many of mine revolve around digital creativity, I oversee all marketing efforts at DBY with wit, enthusiasm and copious amounts of coffee. I have sole ownership over DBY's digital identity which includes developing and maintaining the website, creating video content, photographs, graphic design, amusing and informative social captions, copywriting, email marketing, customer engagement on all social platforms, review management and more. On a daily basis, I use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sprout Social, Mailchimp. I create content for major social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok. I also manage all of our paid search and paid social media campaigns. Of course, that also means utilizing the data from various platforms like Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics and Sprout Social to adjust and optimize our performance. It also includes project management and the organization of traditional aspects of marketing. This includes everything from organizing and executing promotional events, to merchandizing to distributing sales material. From time to time it will also include vetting and purchasing traditional forms of advertising like radio ads, billboards, public relations initiatives and more. I also coordinate the entirely separate field of Event Planning for the District Brew Yards. This includes organizing large group events, event sales and complete execution of private buyouts with budgets of over $50,000. I consider time management, organization and creativity to be my main strengths. I can't go a day without my planner and I wouldn't wish to. I strive to always communicate honestly, distill good ideas into great executions and maintain levity in all actions. We're in the business of beer, let's enjoy ourselves.
