Company Secretary, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements for Australian and New Zealand entities.Deliverables included preparation of management accounts and reporting, review and analysis of results, strategy development and recommendation, budgeting and forecasting, statutory reporting, taxation and regulatory compliance, process improvement, management of internal and external audits, cash flow and treasury management, banking relationship management, cost and capital expenditure management, risk management and liaison with analysts.

Horsley Park, Nsw

Reporting to the CFO. Responsible for all operational accounting and finance functions across the group. This includes accounts payable, credit and payroll functions, and a heavy involvement in Information Technology. Deliverables include preparation of management accounts, including review and analysis of results, strategy recommendation, liaison with divisional General Managers and provision of commercial support, consolidation of results, preparation of board papers, process improvement projects and a focus on driving cost out of the business. Management and implementation of processes and procedures for acquisitions. Managing a team of over 60 staff.

Rosehill, Nsw

Responsible for all operational Finance responsibilities for Australia and New Zealand and provided support to the Philippines. Reported directly to the GM Australia, and in a matrix to both the VP International and the International Finance Director. Responsible for the overall finance function, consolidation of accounts, preparation of and sign off of trading results, implementation of policy management of internal and external audit and the development and implementation of strategy to take the business forward. This included requiring a detailed understanding of manufacturing processes, distribution, and close relationships with plant management at all levels. Local champion for IT (who report offshore), and local contact for banking relationships. Worked closely with the local General Manager in developing ongoing and new business strategy and is seen as the “right hand” of the GM. Implemented SOX.

Auburn, Nsw

Reporting to the CFO. Responsible for the complete financial management of the Galore group, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting, taxation, audit, board pack preparation and cash flow and treasury management. Preparation of both Australian and US GAAP accounts. Management of the Accounts Payable, Accounting and Administrative functions.

Wetherill Park And Later North Ryde, Nsw

Created centralise back office accounting functions. Preparation of monthly profit and loss and balance sheet, management reporting, consolidations, statutory reports including reporting to ASX requirements, preparation of budgets and supervision of the head office accounting staff. Responsible for all taxation related matters, including FBT and GST implementation. Treasury operations included swap and hedging agreements, liaison with financiers, cash flow reporting and management.Integrated Steggles Limited into the Bartter Group following is acquisition.
