Full Professor of Telecommunications at the Federal University of Ceara (UFC). Director at GTEL (www.gtel.ufc.br) UFC's research center focused on the advancement of telecommunications. I have led many industry-sponsored telecom and IT projects. I have published over 200 conference and journal papers in telecommunications and related technologies. I am inventor in a number of telecommunications patents granted or applied to the USPTO, EPO, INPI and PCTs.
