• Provide infrastructure support and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment to include Cisco ASA, Dell Sonicwalls, Cisco Wireless, HP Servers, Netapp, Nimble, and Nutanix• Provide networking support and troubleshooting on equipment leveraging advanced routing protocols. • Design, Coordinate and Review building plans to ensure both business and IT requirements are met in regard to power, cooling, wireless infrastructure and coverage, drop count, drop medium. • Design and conduct IT analysis to produce systems requirements and assist with the purchasing of server, network, and storage infrastructure. • Provide capacity planning and infrastructure consolidation plans as required.• Provide and maintain multiple Voice over IP systems, Shoretel preferred• Maintain IT dashboards and alerting systems to ensure all critical devices are monitored. • Perform maintenance of all hardware and software to provide a stable and reliable environment and implement IT security policies, procedures, and technologies.• Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop and server platform issues, assisting the help desk team when escalation occurs. • Maintain and test disaster recovery policies based on per-business RPO and RTO.• Provide basic and advanced internal cross training for IT staff on various technical issues and systems. • Work both independently and as part of a scalable team, think analytically, and identify the best-fit solution.• Communicate effectively, both written and oral with co-workers and various business vendors in a courteous and professional manner.• Provide quality assurance for vendor-related work such as conduit and electrical installs, fiber pulls and equipment placement. • Work completely and accurately under time constraints and deadlines.• Read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and reports.

• Supporting the Network Operations Center (NOC) providing consulting expertise both onsite and remotely, troubleshooting and resolving issues varying in complexity on PC, servers, wireless, switching, routing, and firewalls.• Interfacing directly with customers while building interpersonal relationships and invoking trust allowing the facilitation of roles ranging from virtual CIO, engineer, and help desk.• Design, install, configure, and support IT solutions for customers in the small and medium size business segment including the implementation and troubleshooting of virtualized and physical servers, wireless, switching, routers, firewalls, and PCs on new and/or existing networks.• Serve as a project manager over a team of engineers, providing leadership and education, knowledge transfer, process and procedure, and technical guidance.• Assess potential and current customer’s environments and deliver recommendations for network improvements.

• Lead project manager and engineer in a complete LAN/WAN reconfiguration and upgrade of the network infrastructure including new Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco routers and Cisco switches with engineered redundancy and fault tolerance, and VPN in multiple locations.• Design, installation, and configuration of VMware virtual server environment with implementation of fault tolerant network design, storage network architecture, high-availably, centralized management, resource management, resource monitoring, and disaster recovery for three sites.• Engineering and implementation of a secure and fault tolerant server network, fiber channel and SAS SAN, and blade server environment.• Project manager and lead engineer in the in the design, implementation, and administration of Citrix Presentation Server including Web Interface and Secure Gateway.• Develop and testing disaster recovery and storage management philosophy in addition to the preparation of thorough documentation for the purposes of disaster recovery.• Identify new technologies that would improve upon the existing infrastructure and business solutions and in turn preparing presentations for all levels of the organization pertaining to proposed modifications to infrastructure.

• Deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN configurations in over 25 locations, including network architecture, Active Directory, application servers, distributing software upgrades, monitor daily activities, enforcing licensing agreements, and provide backups.• Configure, implement, and support various network fabric, application, and services including Cisco firewalls, Cisco routers, as well as 3COM and Foundry switches, and various servers including Distributed Files System (Dfs), Track-It, print, file, WSUS, Blackberry, badge, and voicemail servers.• Administer LAN/WLAN/WAN performance including switches, routers, firwalls, and UPSs to insure resources are available within the guidelines of the established SLAs.• Monitor the performance and capacity of the networking infrastructure in order to appropriately allocate existing data center resources accordingly to improve performance and or ensure maximum optimization of current systems.• Manage and ensure effectiveness of network security platforms including firewalls and Site-to-Site VPN services.
