As Influitive began expanding globally in a more aggressive & deliberate manner, I was tapped to lead that effort from Europe (London HQ). This role involved all elements of establishing the company’s first overseas presence and building a global client base: working with the existing set of international customers to ensure they were successful using the platform, driving new customer growth, forging partnerships with agencies and other partners to collaborate with, and hiring talented people to establish a European team. As Chief of Staff, I served as the "right hand" to our Founder & CEO, Mark Organ. This meant ensuring that he remained focused on the most important priorities, acting as his “stunt double” at key meetings both internally and externally, and working with him on important pioneering or prospective projects that he didn’t want to distract from his functional leadership. In this last capacity, I led Influitive’s exploratory expansion into serving B2C focused companies, from the historical focus on B2B enterprises. Additionally, I took on a number of initiatives related to the development of our people, including interviewing most new hires, implementing OKRs as an organizational alignment framework, and developing the parameters & structure of the company's employee bonus program.
