As an undergraduate research assistant at the Yeh Lab, researching the rapid adaptation of "junco hyemalis" songbirds to urban environments, I have been participating in- Nest tracking during junco breeding season- Helping net and band juncos in the field, assisting with bloodwork and skin sample collection- Monitoring banded junco movements throughout breeding season and the off-season- Data collection, synthetization, and analysis of junco biometrics

I am currently assisting veterinary staff in mixing and administering vaccines, handling small animals, and transcribing patient records, as well as cleaning and maintaining veterinary technician facilities.

I am currently contributing the design and execution of a 300-gallon, 264 sq. ft. aquaponics system and greenhouse producing food for the UCLA food production kitchen, with specialization in aquarium design, seed germination, and fish care.

- As the Treasurer for Bruin Birding Club, the campus chapter of the national Audubon Society, I reviewed and managed past grants for conservation, including from Audubon, TGIF, and UCLA.- Additionally, I help lead bird walks in the UCLA botanical gardens, main campus, and Sage Hill.- I work in Hummingbird Canyon, a native plants garden, by weeding invasive ivy and other plants, planting native plants, and updating spreadsheets regarding the care and conservation of native plants in the Santa Monica Mountains, and California as a whole.

- As the Records Chair of UCLA ORCA (Ocean Resources for Conservation and Advocacy), I helped to organize tabling events, beach cleanups, and correspondence for conservation events.- I worked towards planning and organizing SCUBA and SCUBA-related events.- I communicated with other conservation organizations in UCLA regarding collaboration on larger events, including events with 90+ active volunteers.

During my internship at Shur-Lok Co., I have:- Worked with environmental standards for wastewater disposal, managing flooding in manufacturing facilities, and minimizing environmental harm from waste disposal by corresponding with Irvine Ranch Water District over tracking wastewater pipes and wastewater evaporator function.- Spearheaded a project to map out mean decibel levels throughout the primary facility to match OSHA standards, and improved access to hearing protection throughout the facility.- Updated facility mapping throughout both the primary and auxiliary facilities, including for tracking fire extinguisher access, electrical hazards and transformers, and machine labelling.- Conducted regular EHS protocol, such as reviewing permitting for new machinery, working with OC Fire Authority over fire safety procedures, and regularly escalating concern reporting, both from self-reports and manufacturing floor employees.- Filed and updated waste disposal manifests, for both waste oil, solid wastes, and miscellaneous waste that was backlogged over a period from 2021-2023.

At Reason for Debate, as the Head of Education, I:- Organized and designed curriculum for debate education, independently for elementary, middle, and high school students, adapted for different school circumstances and for summer curriculum.- Led classes and organized summer camps with up to 50+ students online during the COVID-19 pandemic and afterwards, with both local and international students.- Helped recruit and lead 30+ volunteers to design curriculum and TA for summer camp classes.
