FM coatings is an automotive car part painting factory. A big process of different car parts being spray painted to a colour of customers choice. My job was to inspect the painted parts and look for imperfections or anomalies that did not fit the quota.

During the summer of 2018 i had a contract at NSK bearings which was a automotive company who produced the bearings for cars such a Mercedes. My role was to keep the lines restocked and quality inspection of the product. Following strict standard operations procedures and adhering to health and safety polices i spent 3 months here before leaving to go back to University.

After finishing my first year of University, i got a contracted job working at walkers crisp factory owned my PepsiCo. This job involved packing, quality inspection, cleaning equipment for turn arounds. Overall cleanliness and attention to detail as I was working in a food environment following correct standard operating procedures. This job gave me my first insight into the manufacturing and process world.
