Worked on-site at Growmark, Inc. doing development work on their internal ERP system. The system was developed in Oracle Forms and was being ported to ASP.NET WebForms. Conversion and new development was performed in Visual Basic .NET against an Oracle 11g database in a Waterfall environment using TFS. Some highlights include• Took a process that involved paperwork and multiple software packages to add a user to disparate systems and built a web UI that not only worked with multiple databases but with ActiveDirectory to reduce task time to seconds• Converted a system that determined the appropriate hazardous material placards to place on shipping vehicles from a black box series of stored procedures in Oracle that were developed many years before into an extensible web-based system that vastly increased accuracy thus potentially avoiding fines for improper placarding• Worked directly with stakeholders to improve existing and create new reports in Crystal Reports for the fleet management fuel system• Performed maintenance and new feature development for a seed pricing and tracking system using Windows CE based handhelds and Symbol scanners

Over time other businesses were acquired and started in a variety of industry in multiple locations across the country. I managed Exchange Servers, SQL Servers, TFS and Windows Server networks at several locations in multiple states over time. Many applications and websites were developed using various Microsoft stacks• Designed and developed, along with a business manager and front-end specialist, separate public facing web applications to auction off residential real estate, commercial real estate and mortgage backed securities in C# using SQL Server and TFS. The commercial and residential auction apps were developed to include a “ball room” component where mobile servers and workstations were used to drive on-site auctions of multiple properties and update the live site in real (or near real) time• Along with my front-end specialist, designed and developed interactive websites for a bar, a hotel, an indoor entertainment center, a golf course, a banquet facility, an airport parking facility and a nationwide auto painting and repair center in C# using SQL Server and TFS• Built in-house CRMs using FoxPro in the beginning and C# and SQL Server in later versions• Built LANs and WANs to connect multiple businesses across multiple states using Windows Server, Exchange Server and SQL Server to support industry specific applications• Performed multiple analysis of technical capabilities and potential technical needs for businesses that the company was looking to buy• Assisted in hiring IT personnel at the hotel and indoor entertainment center.
