Robert is a Brooklyn-based personal fitness instructor and teacher with a varied background in strength and conditioning, flexibility, nutrition, and yoga. Over the years, he’s taught at the Park Slope Academy of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the New York Road Runner’s Club, the New York Times and has held certifications as a level 1 USA track and field coach, a Russian Kettlebell instructor, an Intrafitt coach, a NASM integrated flexibility practitioner, and an Ashtanga Yoga teacher.Taking all that experience he opened the YOUNGER THAN LAST YEAR fitness studio in Brooklyn, NY. At YOUNGER THAN LAST YEAR, we believe in making small changes in exercise, nutrition, and mindset in order to live longer, healthier lives. We strive for progress, not perfection. Online, our website, Facebook, and Youtube pages share easy-to-understand fitness and lifestyle advice.Offline, we run a small fitness studio in Brooklyn, New York, offering group classes and one-on-one sessions. Originally from Chicago, he attended DePauw University and New York University. When he’s not coming up with innovative ways to make exercise fun and exciting, he builds award-winning monster model dioramas.
