At YOUNGER THAN LAST YEAR, we believe in making small changes in exercise, nutrition, and mindset in order to live longer, healthier lives. Led by personal fitness instructor Robert Troch, we strive for progress, not perfection. Online, our website and social media channels share easy-to-understand fitness and lifestyle advice. Offline, we run a small fitness studio in Brooklyn, New York, offering group classes and one-on-one sessions. Over the years, he’s taught at the Park Slope Academy of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the New York Road Runner’s Club, and the New York Times. He holds certifications as a level 1 USA track and field coach, a level 1 Russian Kettlebell instructor, an Intrafitt coach, a NASM integrated flexibility practitioner, and an Ashtanga Yoga teacher. Originally from Chicago, he attended DePauw University and New York University. When he’s not coming up with innovative ways to make exercise fun and exciting, he builds award-winning monster model dioramas.
