Profile bio

About Michael Haynes

I am deeply entranced by the curiosity and nuance of how people, places, and things interact. So immersed in these mysteries that no matter which way I've turned my career, I keep being led back to the questioning, interpreting and influencing of our public world. Seeing a trend before it lands and asking the right question at the right time, combined with my experience in urban and digital design, has bred fertile and assertive creative expression. To unravel and approach these complexities, I find balance in the imagined and authentic; trust in the familiar and the absurd. Innovation is not always the new, sometimes it's the old with a outrageous and alluring twist. With a decade engaging in sustainability and new economy policy, I have recognised that to change the world, we start with one life, one customer, one client, one community at a time. I have contributed by committing my time and work to helping people use bicycles. Personal and planetary benefits hold greater sway on me than shortsighted prejudice. Perhaps then, I didn't have a choice in being an agent of of urban transformation. Whatever the forces, I find great pleasure designing spaces and experiences and solving problems from which others shy, all underwritten with a licking passion for entrepreneurship and innovation.I love meeting new people and hearing about the awesome work you've done and experience you've had. Feel free to connect, and I always appreciate a note to understand what interests we share.

Listed skills include Strategic Planning, Coordinating Events, Compassion, Empathy, and 21 others.
