Team Lead driving data streaming innovation at scale. I lead a dedicated team that provides Kafka as a platform for the entire company, serving thousands of applications with seamless reliability. Leveraging AWS, we deploy Kafka on EKS using Confluent CFK and empower self-service with GitOps workflows, AsyncAPI specs, and a custom Kubernetes operator. With Terraform for infrastructure deployment, GitLab for CI, and ArgoCD for Kubernetes resources, we streamline workflows and enable teams to unlock the full potential of data streaming.

In the world of logistics, data is precious.As a Software Architect, I am responsible for designing and implementing the technical architecture of our data collection and transformation service, which follows an event-driven architecture and plays a critical role in providing valuable insights and information to our clients through reporting.I work with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Elasticsearch, Oracle, and RabbitMQ to provide data to our clients through a variety of formats, including an OData API for business intelligence, a query builder embedded in our application, and views for specialized BI teams to create Tableau dashboards.In addition to my technical expertise, I also have the opportunity to engage in DevOps work, including utilizing Gitlab pipelines, OpenShift, and Docker to optimize the deployment and management of our service, as well as using monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus for metric scraping and alerting. With my strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, I play a key role in driving the success of our business area efforts and ensuring that our clients have access to the data they need to make informed decisions.

Integrated in the Security Systems teams where we design and implement solutions for security at BMW. Cryptografy, Public Key Infrastructures, etc are now part of my daily basis. Alongside with the oportunity with working with state of the art technologies/frameworks/cloud providers like : Quakus, Kubernetes, AWS, Openshift, Gitlab, Terraform, Docker, etc.

After a great progression in the company, I was invited to integrate the Middleware Architecture team. The company main focus was to migrate from the all technologies (mainly Flash to HTML5) and it was imperative to define a strategy and change the middleware API's. So, I was tasked to define the guidelines for this new REST API for all the products. I also was responsible for migrating all the core API's of the suite of products that were under the Arch Team responsibility.After some time on the team, I became one of the main responsibles, having to make important decisions for the future of the product and research, as well as providing support for all the development team.We had numerous supporting libraries and internal tools that also became my responsability to develop and maintain.I had the opportunity to make the first big steps for one of the company's major goals, which was Teleconference between patient and doctor using WebRTC.

I was Initially integrated in the Clinical Reports team where I was responsible for the Java application that generated the clinical reports for all the suite of products of the company. I worked with many technologies, such as Java , Maven, JasperReports, PL/SQL, Spring, Servlets, Jenkins, Hibernate, among others.After the excellent progress on that team, I was invited to join the Mobile team and be in charge of the middleware/backend layer of the products.We improved all the suite of mobile products, completly refactoring the middleware layer with new technologies, as well as the UI. We also developed a Patient Portal were the patient could register all medical records and share it with the hospital using the latest established interoperability protocols for medical care, like HL7. I worked with the following technologies, among others: Java, Maven, Spring, PL/SQL. And also some frontend like IONIC, Typescrypt, Angular and CSS.I had the opportunity to participate in the biggest conference/exhibition events, on healthcare and technology, to test/showcase interoperability with other vendors:- 2016, HIMSS16, Las Vegas, EUA
