Yes To Save Homes was a highly successful ballot initiative championed by the National Association of Realtors, the Missouri State Association of Realtors, and various business and community groups in Missouri. This initiative aimed to ban real estate transfer taxes in the state, protecting homeowners from additional financial burdens when selling their homes. Through strategic advocacy efforts and grassroots mobilization, Yes To Save Homes garnered widespread support and ultimately secured a victory at the ballot box. By eliminating real estate transfer taxes, this initiative helped promote homeownership affordability and fostered a favorable environment for real estate transactions in Missouri.Developed and implemented successful earned media strategy for state-wide constitution amendment resulting in 84% of the vote. Successfully litigated ballot access issues related to petition gathering resulting in general election ballot placement. Lead local efforts to prevent “blocking” by opponents of ballot initiative across the greater St. Louis area. Worked with businesses across the state, the police, prosecutors and local property owners to allow signature gathering in order to place anti-transfer tax issue on the November ballot. I have been heavily involved with ballot initiatives and Presidential, U.S. Senate, Congressional, Gubernatorial, and other state elections across 31 states including Texas, Missouri, Iowa, South Carolina, Colorado, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Florida. I've also provided commentary on elections to foreign media in Peru, Japan, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Throughout the career of anyone involved in political campaigns, a person works brief contracts or even volunteers to assist or deploy around the country - especially in the final days of the election. I did a great deal of work in election day operations which is a hybrid of legal and political programs designed to enhance the integrity of elections. Political campaigns have a definitive timeline that ends at or shortly after Election Day. Formatting this experience to LinkedIn would be tedious and give a false impression.
