Stage Coach Theatre is a non-profit community based theatre company now in its 29th season of performances. My major responsibilities are facilitating working relationships with other theatre compainies in the area, selecting and presenting plays to the Board of Directors for consideration for possible use in future seasons. Along with that I am responsible for finding directors for any plays chosen that do not have directors attached to the production, as well as trying to attract new talent to the theatre. I have made it a priority to better define the niche for our theatre: To actively promote new plays - ideally, plays whose initial production was less than ten years ago, although there are exceptions. I am also in contact with playwrights who submit original plays that have not as yet been published.
