Work to evaluate workflow process, institute department-wide changes, and manage issues related to post production process.• Served as lead editor for courses with our co-brand partners National Geographic and The Culinary Institute of America, which were top sellers for 2012 and 2013 and set a standard for the quality of our product.• Planned and managed the switch from Final Cut Pro to Premiere for the entire production department through training, resource planning and management, and constant follow up to ensure the new tool worked and improved our production workflow. We reached our goal of total integration a full quarter earlier than projections.• Created media management process for multi-week field shoot to ensure all media was backed up with multiple redundancies. Improved this process the next year by achieving back ups of more than double the footage without increasing time. Extra time allowed me to edit in the field and have rough cuts of more that 3/4s of the lectures shot.• Served as key member of planning team to introduce live production workflow by learning new equipment, testing ideas and elements, recommending hardware improvements, and helping to oversee both the logistics and aesthetics of what we could achieve live during recording. This led to producing my own course that helped to save over 100 hours of editing manpower from the post production process.• Evaluated and interviewed editor candidates, made hiring recommendations, and onboarded new editors to ensure they were properly integrated into the workflow.
