Project : RunBook Automation Project Description: Prime Goal of this project is to automate workflows that would perform predefined tasks done by L1 and L2 independently on an event for Morgan Stanley client, focusing on reducing repeated tasks performed by L1 and L2 teams, effort saving, risk mitigation and head-count reduction.Key Responsibilities:1.Primary focal point for Developing Workflows and Managing Infrastructure 2.Monitor Product/Solution throughout all stages of Quality Life-Cycle (proposal, definition, build, validation, production, end of enhancements, end of availability, end of support)3.Oversee project delivery process with key contributors to help manage scope and prepare change requests, including tasks, deliverables, milestones, and resources.4.Capture and communicate experiences in formal post-mortem, feeding lessons learned, best practices and resources back into the consulting practice.5.Project management of all product integration/launches/changes throughout implementation.Help define new capabilities and to help derive additional efficiency through better utilization of the Development.6.Manage project team expectations for agreed upon project performance by obtaining and providing project metrics. Recommends changes or alternate paths based upon performance and metrics.7.Co-ordinate the Design and Roll-out of new Workflows.8.Implementing new solutions with the help of various technology teams after reviewing the current business requirements.9.Developing business plans and product strategy.10.Developing processes and migration strategies for the current environment to move to the new environment.11.Providing technical assistance to Development team on critical issues by co-coordinating with various technology teams depending on the complexity of the issue.12.Capacity planning, Risk Analysis, performance monitoring, patch management, security threat analysis.

Project : Omega/WISE TD Batch Morgan Stanley, Autodesk, Cowen Autosys, RUSA BatchProject Description: In IPsoft we work in a shared domain, handling multiple clients at same time. I predominantly work for Morgan Stanley client in OmegaWISE project Teradata module as Team-Leader, Technical L2 and Wise member in engagement team with Client.The main goal we adhere is automation, we have automated around 60% of manual work like job rerun for in the event of particular failure, Middleware service check, fetching Job information along with runtime logfile etc..Key Responsibilities:1.Offshore Coordinator between IPsoft and Morgan Stanley. 2.Core team Member of automation [Developer & Reviewer].3.Meeting with clients for streamlining the process flow.4.Leading 13 member’s team with 4 other clients like Autodesk,Cowen,Rusa,IHG.5.Heading Outages and ensuring minimal or no business impact.6.Executing TCM’s, Creating and Updating of Run books, scripts..etc.7.Data warehousing for Morgan Stanley WISE (Ware house Integration Service for the Enterprise) which includes monitoring upstream, downstream jobs and troubleshoot when they fail.8.Perform ready for business checks using HP quality center with test cases and generate reports which is a part of BCP (Business Continuity Process) for Morgan Stanley FID (Fixed Income Division)9.Work on problem tickets such as load average, CPU usage, log drive usage alerts using Nagios ticketing tool and resolve them within standard SLA.10.Periodically perform smoke test on various applications and make sure they are responding as intended.11.Monitor and troubleshoot middleware services such as Admin service, Load balance service, Report service, Gateway service, config service and escalate it to third level support when any of the service goes down.12.Create RCA report after every unscheduled outage, indentify knowledge gap areas and come up with process improvement suggestions.

Project : Omega/WISE, Quantum Support, User Support, Morgan Stanley Project Description: The offshore team provides 24*7 L1, L2 and L3 support to Morgan Stanley’s Financial Applications under the OMEGA/WISE (Warehouse and Integrated Services for the Enterprise) and Quantum umbrella. The team supports more that 80 PnL (Profit and Loss) application with 800+ batch jobs transferring end of day trading data to various applications enabling users to run reports and perform profit and loss calculations. Various reporting tools in the applications enable the end user to speculate the market risks, trends and daily profit and loss of the firm.The offshore team provides 24*7 L1, L2 and L3 support to Morgan Stanley’s Financial Applications under the OMEGA/WISE in Sybase ModuleKey Responsibilities:1.Investigate complex user reports (msr) by simplifying the SQL queries.2.Resolving Batch/User Issues for all Applications in the Warehouse.3.Creation of internal scripts and automating daily production task.4.Analyzing Live issues to pull out/troubleshoot the cause and reason of the problem.5.Reviewing new Application and to provide findings for daily monitoring of Batch Jobs and for Escalation/Notification of the issues to concerned teams.6.Enhanced Technical Team Support Member for WISE for solving escalated batch issues and user tickets.7.Updating TCS knowledgebase tool Consult and Batch/User Support Run books.
