Responsibilities include:• Modeling Consulting & Compliance: Consult clients on global actuarial modeling and analysis on Prophet to PolySystem conversion project. Consult and implement on international product business needs for long duration targeted improvements (LDTI).• Project Management: Build monitoring tools for issues and enhancements to improve communication and decision making. Prioritize and monitor issues with vendor and key stakeholders until resolution.• Business Transformation and IT Solutions: Evaluate global valuation process and introduce IT automation tools and processes using Power BI and Power Excel tools to increase efficiency in providing monthly data and results quicker to global actuaries. Train IT and actuaries on newly built solutions to scale across regions and business products.

Responsibilities included:• Consulted on mitigating model risk within Moody’s AXIS and assumption models by partnering with Model Center of Excellence (MCOE) and model owners to execute on updating documentation and testing in adherence to The Fed Supervisory letter SR11-7 and Model Risk Management (MRM) policy/standards.• Facilitated Model Risk Framework within the first-line of defense and ensure actuarial models are properly documented, tested, controlled and are performing as intended.• Performed risk assessment, communicate gaps and supplement testing/documentation/implementation needs before transitioning final models for validation/review by MRM, including issue escalation and resolution during first and second line of defense.• Advised, advocated and assisted actuaries with solutions that drive model consistency, efficiency, and best practices within AXIS, Prophet, ARCVAL and other actuarial platforms including end-user defined spreadsheet modeling solutions.
