As a Quality Inspector II at Modus Advanced Inc, I interact and collaborate with the Shipping/Receiving, Fabrication, Machining, and Form in Place departments to ensure the quality and workmanship of in process and finished products. I am able to run the Virtek LaserQC and Microvu with the assist of different hand tools like calipers, thread gages, feeler gages, durometer gages, pin gages, radius gages, chamfer gages, etc. I preform first article inspections, in process inspections and final article inspections using the appropriate device or tool for the job. Create and review product inspection reports according to customer drawings and quality requirements. As well as analyze customer product drawings when problems arise and suggest feedback to Quality and Production managers for procedure improvements.

In my role as a Freight Associate at The Home Depot, I was a part of the freight truck unload team. I collaborate with other Freight Associates to unload the truck in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. I was licensed to drive three different types of lift equipment in the store. One was the Pacer machine which is helpful to unload heavy palletized merchandise from the truck. A second one was the Reach machine which was useful to bring down palletized merchandised from the overhead of the aisles in the store. The third one was the Order Picker machine which was useful to bring down heavy and bulky merchandise from the overheads in the aisles.

I was a Marketing Assistant Intern in which I assisted local businesses on Franklin Blvd with marketing and advertising needs. I helped and collaborated with business owners to promote their business on social media. Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, etc.) was a great tool for me to get my everyday tasks done efficiently and professionally.I created flyers and edited short videos for the use on Instagram. These helped small businesses market and advertise their service or product to consumers via social media.

I mentored first year college students in the College Assistance Migrant Program. I worked with a group of 10 students to make their first year experience at Sacramento State enjoyable. I created biweekly meetings to check up on each student to see their progress throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. We filled out documents together showing each students progress in their classes in each semester. I answered questions about academics and pointed students to helpful resources they had on campus that will benefit their academic success.I had multiple trainings on general education, finances, resource navigation, and communication. These trainings were helpful in interacting with each student at our biweekly meetings answering questions they might have had about academics, finances, or resources available on campus.
