Built Staff Engineering team working with engineering and support orgs to address the operational aptitude, tooling and knowledge gap between support operations and engineering/development orgs. Led team for advanced levels of troubleshooting, involving hard and soft clients, customer LAN/WLAN/WAN, IP transit, IP transport, platform edge, platform services, client-accessed APIs, transaction authentication, data analysis, call flow and call center functionality, carrier edge, meeting services, and packet analysis, particularly SIP/RTP analysis. Developed internal tooling and telemetry practice to better evaluate quality issues and draw together complex analysis from numerous different data sources across global platform into actionable insights.

Built a product engineering team focusing on VoIP device provisioning R&D, carrier connectivity, advanced network and application troubleshooting. Established expectation as the key destinations for issues that Tier 3 could not resolve.

Architected and deployed QoS connectivity solutions and trained a team of engineers to deploy high-quality VoIP solutions with QoSed voice and video traffic from customer client prem to Fuze cloud platform.
