Co-Founder. As start-up CTO, leads BAT’s technological vision, strategy, architecture and execution. Oversees the design, development, and deployment of the BAT’s SaaS product, ensuring scalability and reliability of the platform. Oversees cybersecurity measures and data protection, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards, managing technology-related risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Works closely with other executives to align technology initiatives with business objectives, define product roadmap, and develop go-to-market strategies. Manages technology budget and resources. Researches and develops new innovations for BAT product, insights and technologies.

Built Staff Engineering team working with engineering and support orgs to address the operational aptitude, tooling and knowledge gap between support operations and engineering/development orgs. Led team for advanced levels of troubleshooting, involving hard and soft clients, customer LAN/WLAN/WAN, IP transit, IP transport, platform edge, platform services, client-accessed APIs, transaction authentication, data analysis, call flow and call center functionality, carrier edge, meeting services, and packet analysis, particularly SIP/RTP analysis. Developed internal tooling and telemetry practice to better evaluate quality issues and draw together complex analysis from numerous different data sources across global platform into actionable insights.

Built a product engineering team focusing on VoIP device provisioning R&D, carrier connectivity, advanced network and application troubleshooting. Evaluated new client devices solutions, built proof of concept solutions, and built proof of concept provisioning management and automation systems. Established relationships with new carriers and developed new areas of the world where we could originate and terminate traffic. Established expectation as the key destinations for issues that Tier 3 could not resolve.

Architected and deployed the environment, as well as built and trained a team of VoIP engineers on how to architect and deploy effective VoIP and QoS from the clients the LAN, WLAN, private WAN and OTT solutions to Fuze. Created standards and methods to capture, deploy and manage customer enterprises for VoIP, especially at the enterprise level. Architected and deployed QoS connectivity solutions and trained a team of engineers to deploy high-quality VoIP solutions with QoSed voice and video traffic from customer client prem to Fuze cloud platform. Developed layers of redundant solutions for high-availability requirements. Developed processes to capture and deploy QoS into customer Developed QoS WLAN solutions.

Founding team member. Built and managed customer configurations on asterisk servers. Prototyped, designed and proofed customer network LAN, WAN, and firewall solutions to meet VoIP challenges. Built provisioning team focusing on capturing the customer requirements and delivering both the client devices, customer network enablement, and platform configuration for customer design. Prototyped and built proof of concepts for Thinkingphones hard phone device configuration to work with remote cloud based asterisk servers.
