In over 15 years of web development I have developed a mastery of the disciplines and skills necessary to make experiences in the web browser worthwhile. In addition to frontend development, my experience also includes interacting with and sometimes developing in backend or cloud technologies. I'm especially well versed in E-commerce which also gives me insight into and experience with things like Shopify, SEO, site speed optimization, conversion rate optimization, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and third-party integrations. While I am more than willing to contribute to a team environment, I also thrive on taking sole ownership of projects from conceptualization to roll-out. With new plugins, frameworks, methodologies and techniques coming out all the time, I'm excited to be a part of the front-end development community and look forward to broadening my capabilities.I fearlessly take on new challenges and constantly fail forward. I can't stand to see something sitting around waiting for someone to take charge of it, I'm a doer and jump right in with both feet - done is good. I'll admit there have been times where a slower more methodical approach may have been helpful, but I much prefer moving fast and making corrections and adjustments on the fly.In addition to traditional web development duties I've spent extensive time learning and researching the best conversion rate optimization practices. Skills I've developed in that area include A/B testing, user testing, copywriting, and user interviews.
