Logistics Management- Co-ordinating the in- and outbound deliveries, ensuring timely transportation- Ensure all the Douglas stores receive their goods on time in all the malls in the allocated strick time frame across the country- Full responsibility of the prompt and most cost effective drop shipment for all other type of POS materials, etc. - Daily managemenet of cca. 20 3rd party logistics partner.- EKAER and documentation handling responsibilityWarehouse Management- 360˙management of our cross-docking operation, from receiving goods, thorugh commissioning, resorting, shipment preparation and outbound- Organising all the recyclable materials sell-out and manage the rubbish on a highly productive manner- Organising the returns of the big cosmetic companies and ensuring refunds are as scheduled- Implementing a new security procedure and system to eliminate blind spots in our processes and warehouse floor- Maintaining and ensuring the rules of the warehouse operiation are followed, many new regulations have also been implementedProject Management- Successful project coordinator of the new logistic partner tendering;- Lengthening our warehouse rental contract to optimise cost, facilities and services;- Building a strong relationship with our head office in Germany and work together on a system that works towards serving our mutual needs and requirementsManagement Tasks- Restructure the warehouse organigram and rebuild the hierarchies, salary packages, improvement of productivity by workflow and organigram optimisation- Provide feedback, organise team events and bring positivity to the team’s every day- Working closely with the managing director, marketing, merchandising and the stores staff
