During my tenure with Deloitte, I was proud to have delivered results across three major client projects, as well as various minor deliveries:Utilities Client, Phase 1: Azure Platform Security Breach Recovery-Conducted an initial baseline security analysis of the platform, which the client had disconnected and disabled to prevent further breaches – identified and documented key vulnerabilities.-Secured and re-enabled the platform by hardening and redeploying critical infrastructure to utilize private routing via private endpoints, virtual networks, subnets, and DNS zones, while employing NSG and firewall rules for additional security.-Reactivated critical data ingestion pipelines by restructuring ADF pipelines and Databricks notebooks.Utilities Client, Phase 2: Azure Platform Uplift and DevOps Enablement- During the phase 1 security analysis, identified that the client lacked a DevOps process for their platform, requiring manual and time-consuming management and deployment of their environments.- Defined infrastructure and application configurations of the secured platform in ARM templates to establish DevOps processes and expedite recovery from future breaches.- Designed, tested, and implemented DevOps IaC and application code deployment via Azure DevOps.Managed sandbox and client GitHub repositories, proposed branching strategies, and resolved issues.Energy Client, Digital Services Platform (DSP)- Integrated core business functions and existing processes into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) architecture component of the platform, analysing data-driven business processes from source to sink and planning their integration with the EDW and the broader DSP hub-spoke network architecture.- Documented and diagrammed key data architecture and interactions using Confluence, capturing business processes, network integrations, and data flows.
