Current- Lead portfolio of IT infrastructure projects for a public K-12 school district: * Managed the planning and deployment of a WAN network infrastructure upgrade across all schools, leading to an increase in network bandwidth capacity and reliability. * Managed the planning and deployment of more than 2,400 802.11ac replacement wireless access points across all school sites, resulting in vastly improved wireless performance, capacity, and reliability for 40,000+ students, teachers, and staff across the District * Spearheaded cybersecurity initiatives such as the implementation of new firewalls, multifactor authentication, a managed detection and response (MDR) solution, and email security platform that significantly increased the cybersecurity posture and reduced the District's attack surface vector.- Empower and mentor a team of 7 systems engineers and systems administrators responsible for District-wide network security, cloud services (Azure/Entra AD, Office 365, and Google Workspace), network infrastructure, storage, and compute resources.
