Calculation of the mechanical resistance for the opening parts on vehicle body side.Activities performed:• Performing calculation based finite element method according to the client procedures;• Mesh performed in ANSA;• Creating and running finite elements models for different types of solvers: Abaqus, Nastran, Pam-Crash;• Post-processing the results, checking the mechanical behavior and resistance (Excel, METAPOST);• Writing and presenting rapports;• Collaborating with my colleagues in finding solutions for particular studies or for updating the existing procedure;• Types of calculations: - Static stiffness and modal analyses for hood, doors and tailgate; - Strut buckling - Closing force on hood - Over slam on hood and tailgate analysis - Striker check on hood at wind load - 1D calculation

Calculation of the mechanical resistance for the engine’s moving parts.Activities performed:• Performing calculation based finite element method according to the client procedures;• Mesh performed in ANSA;• Creating and running finite elements models for different types of solvers: Abaqus, Nastran, AVL Excite, DesginLife;• Post-processing the results, checking the mechanical and fatigue resistance, and also elasto-hydrodynamic lubrication (MatLab, Excel, METAPOST);• Writing and presenting rapports;• Collaborating with my colleagues in finding solutions for particular studies or for updating the existing procedure;• Types of calculations: - Fatigue analysis on conrod, camshaft, and crankshaft - Bursting flywheel calculation - Elasto-hydrodinamique lubrification (EHL) calculation on crankshaft and conrod berings - 1D calculation
