At the Huisman shipyard in the Netherlands, I began my work with Helix as a member of the HSE team during the construction, commissioning, and adaptation of the Siem Helix 2 vessel to meet national and international standards. Upon the vessel’s arrival in Brazil, I participated in its acceptance stage and was subsequently promoted to lead the onboard HSE department of the Siem Helix 2. In this role, I am responsible for supporting the QHSE Manager in developing, implementing, and continuously improving the health, environmental, and safety aspects of the Helix Management System.”

As a member of a project team responsible for the construction and commissioning of two sixth-generation drillships, I ensured that equipment installation and building projects adhered to specifications, rules, and approved drawings by conducting regular onboard inspections during the building period. Additionally, I prepared and reviewed procedures and international documents for the offshore units in compliance with the local laws of the countries where the units would operate.I participated in the entire process of receiving and conducting operational acceptance audits for the sixth-generation drillship CERRADO. As part of my role, I provided technical coordination for onboard Safety Technicians, delegating tasks and responsibilities as appropriate. I consistently collaborated with other departments within the offshore unit to identify and mitigate hazardous working conditions and propose measures to minimize the risk of accidents.
