My name is Gabriela Rodriguez and I am a fourth year Civil Engineering student at California Baptist University. I am a first generation college student in my family. I chose CBU because I want to fulfill my purpose which is to make a contribution to society and prove that the children of immigrants can do great in the United States. I am a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of collaborative work with engineers, demonstrating confident inquiry, adaptability in professional environments, and capability of carefully following instructions. I've learned to perform well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently. I'm looking for a role where I can use these skills to contribute effectively, ensure project success, and continue developing my expertise in a dynamic and challenging work environment. I see myself as a dedicated and determined individual, a trait I believe is evident in my work experience and projects. My goal is to become a civil engineer, not only for personal pride but also to inspire and demonstrate to the Hispanic community that 'si se puede' (yes, it can be done).
