While with Winter Companies I acted as Tier 3 technical support for the Help Desk team. I was responsible for the day to day upkeep of the network, which consisted both of physical and virtual servers. The virtual server configuration was on eSXI, vSphere, and VMWare. I was responsible for restructuring their Active Directory and Group Policy configurations. I did research, testing, planning, and roll out of the MDM solution the company moved to. I handled archiving email accounts in Office 365 as well as E-Discovery. I worked with the backup and recover solutions to make sure they were running properly, as well as restoring files from our virtual backups as necessary. I setup remote jobsites as required and made sure there was a seamless transition for the employees that would be working at those jobsites.

My responsible include for configuring an onsite, wireless, and cloud data solution, including building servers utilizing MS Server 2008 R2. I am the Office 365 administrator. Designed and produced the new company website. My additional responsibilities consisted of configuring workstations, laptops and desktops, smartphones, and tablets to access the company’s data. I consulted on IT needs for different developments including a data center. I contacted vendors to get quotes that meet the IT needs while saving building costs.

During my time with DEKRA I had a vast array of responsibilities. I was responsible for troubleshooting server issues across multiple sites and configurations, from Server 2000 on Hyper-V to Server 2008 R2. Additionally I revamped all mobile communication equipment and wireless plans. Worked closely with venders to save the company money. I was the primary decision maker in whom DEKRA N.A. choose as their MDM solution, as well as key in choosing the new point of sale system. I was also N.A.’s Office 365 enterprise administrator in a 30,000 employee environment. Other facets of my day to day activates were keeping up with Active Directory and North America’s portion of the Office 365 environment. Inventory of DEKRA N.A.’s IT equipment was another of my responsibilities as well as keeping track of purchase orders and maintaining accountability to upper management for potential financial outlays

At the United States Department of Agriculture – Office of the inspector General, I was responsible for the Southeastern Region. There I helped transition the region’s servers from Novell to Windows 2008 R2. I configured TCP/IP setting for users as well as visitors from other regions. I supported around 100 users that were in both local and remote locations. Additionally, I monitored network traffic and enforced security protocols. I also kept a running inventory of technology to ensure all devices where accounted and preformed monthly backups.
