I am a college graduate of University of the Pacific with a Bachelor's in English and a Minor in Ethnic Studies.. I have worked as a student aide at Alice Birney Waldorf Methods K-8 school and as an educator at the La Familia GED center. I also have three years of experience as an editor on the student magazine at University of the Pacific, Calliope. I believe that exceptional education is critical to the growth of a person, and I would like to foster that positive experience wherever I work. In my time after college, I have worked as a teacher's aid with SWING education as well as a representative at Cache Creek Casino Resort. The jobs that are the most appealing to me are ones where I will be challenged. I would like to be regularly learning new skills, or honing what I've already learned. Of course, I believe education or instruction should also be a cornerstone of my work.
