My role is to infuse every space with a sense of empathy, professionalism, and compassion. Culture vibrates throughout every space we occupy. It's the feeling we get when we step into a shop, the tone a teacher takes in an email, the body language our partner displays when greeting us at the door. Culture is far from two-dimensional. It's three-dimensional, complex, textured and very much alive in everything we say, do and act upon. I constantly question how I am holding space for others? If I am actively listening to their needs without inserting my own agenda? If I am adding value to every person I come in contact with? It’s bringing together every personal and professional growth workshop I have attended, every corporate team-building session I have led, and every keynote speech I have given. My role is not to know the answers, but to provide a wide variety of tools to help someone find their own. For over 15 years, I have shared my knowledge of Intercultural and Interpersonal Communication as a Professor, teacher trainer, award-winning international speaker, and a C-Suite corporate consultant and coach. Combining this with my Masters in Education and my experience as a Search Inside Yourself Emotional Intelligence Trainer, I offer experiences that are custom-tailored to the client with the flexibility to adapt or improvise when needed. As current events are radically changing the landscape of Interpersonal Communication in real-time, these skills are more important than ever to help leaders effectively and efficiently interact in person, over the phone, and on a screen.
