Creates and updates patient records, verifying compatible insurance plans, verifying appropriate referrals authorization and indicating appropriate co-payment. Scan labs, X-ray reports etc to medical records.

Answers multi-line phone system and accurately and professionally directs and assists callers, schedules appointments and takes accurate and thorough messages for the appropriate provider following office protocols. Handle multiple tasks and communicate well with personnel, visitors, customer, patients and the general public.Working independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.Knowledge of medical terminology, knowledge of EPIC, insurance verification, referral coordinator flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
