As a Senior Commercial Manager at Deakin University, I have over a decade of experience in creating and delivering innovative solutions that address the needs and challenges of health and related industries. I am passionate about fostering strategic partnerships and collaborations that generate sustainable research income and translation opportunities for the university and its partners.In my current role, I leverage my skills and expertise in business development, leadership and management, strategy and research planning, contract negotiation, and intellectual property protection to identify, develop, and secure new and existing opportunities for research funding and commercialization. I work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as researchers, industry partners, government agencies, and funding bodies, to establish and maintain strong relationships and alignment of objectives and expectations.
