I've been working as a journeyman hairstylist and small ecommerce business owner for over a decade. These roles have allowed me the flexibility to balance my career and the many additional responsibilities of motherhood while gaining valuable interpersonal skills. Through these positions I have developed professional competencies in communications, customer service, marketing, and sales. My experiences have also provoked in me an interest in human psychology which led me to return to school for a psychology degree and a certificate in Human Resources and Labor Relations. Now that my children have reached teenage years I'm ready to apply the many skills I have been cultivating over the years to a professional role within an organization that offers room for growth and upward mobility.
