Support Investigators (PIs) by coordinating site operational logistics and maintaining regulatory compliance for multiple depression, schizophrenia, and alcohol trials. Support Director of Research by tracking critical milestones, assisting in budget creation and management, and assisting in the hiring process. • Liaison to various stakeholders including Investigators, Director of Research, research coordinators, regulatory compliance staff, and monitors. • Develop standard operating procedures, administration manuals, regulatory documents, and forms for protocols. Collaborate with Investigators to review Sponsor, FDA and NIH grant requirements and reporting. • Coordinate Site Evaluation Visits with Sponsor monitor and report back to Director to evaluate project feasibility. Propose and implement strategies for recruitment and expenses in line with budget. • Generate and present project / program performance reports to Director of Research, Vice Chair, or Chairman including cost-benefit analysis, bottle-neck analysis, and comprehensive needs assessment. • Trained employees and volunteers in protocol-specific procedures, databases, neurocognitive, and performance measures for various protocols.

Support the Principal Investigator by initiating clinical trials at the site and complying with study protocol for nephrology and transplant clinical trials.• Liaison between the University of Miami Medical Group and Kidney Transplant Team (eg. Physicians, nurses, fellows, and staff) in order to recruit patients to fulfill enrollment goals. • Initiated new sites (eg. UM Transplant Care Center, Clinical Research Center, UM Transplant Satellite Office) to conduct study visits for three nephrology and transplant protocols. Achieved fast-enrollment status for kidney transplant protocol leading to site payments totaling over $80,000 in fiscal year 2012 with a 90% patient retention rate. • Coordinated communication with sponsor study team, site monitor, clinical research center, and central laboratory on a regular basis to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of data collection.• Developed case report forms to collect data and created SOPs to facilitate specimen collection.• Prepared and submitted protocols, amendments, reportable events, deviations, and relevant documents to the university regulatory board.• Formulated strategies to maximize results of collections efforts. Traveled to collection sites to implement new strategies, and validated new methods by monitoring collection site performance metrics over time.

Supported Principal Investigator in NIH funded grant activities by recruiting subjects and administering protocol-specific assessments. Initiated an internally-funded kidney donor study and a sponsored kidney transplant study.
